Our Mission
We're here to support you, because we are you.
We hold space for Mothers who are navigating their personal journey of hard choices. We offer support, empathy, and compassion. We seek to bridge the gap between the hospital room and the connection to solutions.
As well as post placement care for Mothers who are navigating life after placement.
Our mission is to provide hope and encouragement, to give women who need support a soft place to land. A place where they can gain education and empowerment, and understand the choices that are being put before them.

Meet Jody
I'm Jody, the founder of Momma's Promise. I created this program, because I've been exactly where you are right now. It's my mission, and my passion to help mother's navigate the hard and difficult decisions that I too had to face.

I faced my own struggles with drug addiction and had multiple case files with Child Protective Services. My youngest daughter was placed in foster care and remained with her foster family until she was adopted by them in 2015.
We are currently navigating a semi-open adoption and the challenges that come with separation after adoption.
Box of Hope
Our mission is to offer a Box of Hope to each Mother we meet at the hospital.
The core of our mission is to offer hope, promise, and comfort to mothers experiencing separation.
We created 'Box of Hope' to give to Mother's who otherwise would leave the hospital empty handed.

Each box is filled with keepsake items that she can take with her after being discharged.

FAQ
What comes in each Box of Hope?
A small colorful journal, infant hat, rose quartz heart stone, a sticker, personal note, and a beautiful necklace specifically designed to remind each Mother that they can hold on to hope. It symbolizes " I will hold you in my heart until I see you again."
How can I support the Mission?
Engage on social platforms and share my at content @mommaspromise_ or on Facebook @Jodygolston. Donate, volunteer, spread the word, purchase a box and/or necklace.
Where is Momma's Promise located?
Oregon City, OR. At this time, we serve Clackamas and Multnomah County both in person and on-line. However, we are able to meet anyone, from anywhere that would like to connect and be supported via on-line platforms.
Who does Momma's Promise help?
We walk with Mother's throughout their personal journey of having their child removed. We offer group and peer support during the process and grief support after placement. It does NOT matter if placement was through a foster placement or domestic infant adoption. Any and all mothers are welcome to join us!
